The color
Ridge is a medium wood in matte laminate, on Summit. The tone sits between honey and walnut, with a warm brown undertone and a restrained grain.
In north light, the kind many Manhattan kitchens get, it cools and settles into a muted brown. In south light, common in Miami and in Long Island kitchens with rear-facing windows, the amber comes forward. Under warm LEDs it deepens toward russet.
What to pair it with
Choose white quartz with soft gray veining, honed limestone, or pale terrazzo for counters. Brushed brass and blackened steel suit the warmth. Polished chrome tends to look cold against it.
For floors, wide-plank white oak in a lighter natural tone gives clear separation. Matte charcoal slate works too. Avoid a floor in the same mid-brown.
Where it suits
It fits prewar apartments, brownstone rear kitchens, and condo galleys that need warmth without pattern. On Long Island, it works well in ranches, colonials, and split-levels where the kitchen opens to a family room.
It comes on Wooster Slim, Wooster Shaker, and Wooster Slab within TKG Inset. See all door styles and finishes.
Care and durability
Laminate is a practical surface. Wipe it with a damp microfiber cloth and mild soap, then dry it. The matte sheen hides fingerprints better than gloss.
Skip abrasive pads and harsh solvents. Keep steam from kettles and dishwashers away from door edges, and dry standing water near the sink promptly. For samples or questions, contact us.
