How the color reads
Linear Oak is a medium wood veneer with a satin sheen. It sits between blonde and walnut, with a straight, even grain that runs the full height of the door.
In north light it cools to a quiet tan. South light pulls honey out of the grain. Under warm LEDs it deepens toward amber, so specify 2700K if you want that glow and 3000K if you want it closer to true.
What to pair it with
Honed white marble or soft gray soapstone counters keep the wood from feeling heavy. Brushed brass suits the warmth, and blackened steel gives it an edge.
For floors, choose a lighter plank or gray terrazzo rather than matching the tone. See more options in finishes.
Where it suits
Prewar apartments with north-facing kitchens gain warmth without losing brightness. Brownstones and Long Island Colonials with strong southern light can carry it across full walls of cabinetry.
It comes on most door styles within the TKG Inset collection.
Care and durability
Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry right away. Veneer dislikes standing water and steam, so watch the sink edge and the area around the dishwasher. Skip abrasive cleaners.
The satin sheen hides fingerprints better than gloss does. Questions about a specific layout? Contact us.
