The color
Range is a medium wood in matte laminate. The grain is fine and straight, and the tone sits between honey and walnut.
In north light it cools and settles into a muted, even brown. In south light the warmth comes forward and the grain turns golden. Under warm LEDs it deepens toward amber, so an under-cabinet strip will enrich it further. Look at a sample in your own kitchen at noon and at night.
What to pair it with
White quartz with soft veining keeps the tone from feeling heavy. Honed soapstone or limestone suits it just as well. Brushed brass and unlacquered bronze echo the warmth, while blackened steel adds contrast.
For floors, try pale white oak, terrazzo, or honed gray stone.
Where it works
This finish suits a prewar co-op galley, a brownstone garden-level kitchen, or a Long Island Colonial or split-level where the light changes from room to room. It comes on Wooster Slab, Wooster Slim, and Wooster Shaker doors in TKG Inset. Compare profiles under door styles or browse more finishes.
Care and durability
Laminate is a hard, sealed surface. Wipe it with a soft damp cloth and mild soap, then dry the edges. Skip abrasive pads and solvents.
Keep steam and direct heat off the door faces. Use a trivet, and vent the dishwasher after a cycle. The matte surface hides fingerprints better than gloss. For questions about your layout, contact us.
