The color
Rift Cut White Oak Bourbon is a medium wood tone: amber-brown, with a soft gold undertone that stays clear of orange and gray. The satin sheen keeps it looking like wood, not lacquer.
In north light it cools and settles into a quiet brown. In south light the gold comes forward and the grain gains depth. Under warm LEDs it deepens and glows, so check a sample under your actual bulbs.
What to pair it with
Honed white marble or pale quartzite keeps the room light. Soapstone-dark counters make it feel richer.
For metals, unlacquered brass and aged bronze lean into the warmth. Brushed nickel cools it slightly.
On floors, try pale limestone, terrazzo, or a lighter natural oak laid in herringbone.
Where it works
Henry Street (beaded), Park Slope (raised-panel), and Astor (raised-panel) suit brownstones and prewar co-ops. Remsen (shaker) fits Long Island colonials and Capes. Bleecker and Vanderbilt, both slab, suit lofts, condos, and renovated ranches.

Care and durability
This is a stain on real wood, so tone and grain vary slightly from door to door. That variation is part of the finish.
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry right away. Skip abrasive pads and ammonia cleaners, and wipe standing water near the sink and dishwasher. See more finishes or contact us for samples.
