The color
Grey Timber sits between pale ash and weathered oak. The grey leads, the wood follows, and the grain stays quiet.
In north light it cools toward stone and reads calm and even. In south light the wood comes forward and the undertone turns soft and sandy. Under warm LEDs it drifts toward driftwood, so choose 2700K for warmth and 3000K to keep it neutral.
What to pair it with
Counters: white quartz with faint veining, or a honed dark stone for contrast. Skip creamy marbles, which can make the grey look flat.
Metals: brushed nickel and blackened steel keep it crisp. Unlacquered brass adds warmth as it ages.
Floors: natural white oak, pale terrazzo, or mid-grey porcelain tile. Avoid red-toned woods, which fight the undertone.

Care and durability
Laminate is a practical finish for working kitchens. The matte surface resists glare and is forgiving of daily handling.
Wipe with a damp microfiber cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh solvents. Wipe spills promptly, and keep kettle and dishwasher steam away from door edges.
