Wooster Slab in every finish
The door
Wooster Slab is as plain as a door gets, and that is the point. The door and center panel are flat, with no profile to catch light or dust. In full overlay, the fronts sit across the frame and read as one continuous surface.
It belongs to TKG Inset, so the construction is framed and furniture-grade. In a room it reads quiet and architectural. Proportion and wood tone carry the design.
Where it works
In a pre-war apartment, a run of slab fronts keeps a narrow galley calm and lets the original windows and moldings lead. In a brownstone, the flat door offsets plaster detail and old millwork instead of competing with it.
Lofts and new builds suit it naturally. Long uninterrupted walls of tall cabinetry, in a Manhattan loft, a Long Island renovation or a Miami condo, look deliberate when the doors stay flat.
Choosing a finish
All 13 finishes are laminate in wood tones. Light Timber, Grey Timber, Frosted Path and Peak are the light options and suit small or dim rooms. Weathered Timber and Ridge sit in the medium range and pair well with plaster and stone.
Dark Timber and Elk are the dark end, best in rooms with generous daylight. Compare them all on the finishes page, and see the rest of the range under door styles.
Practical notes
Laminate wipes clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. There is no paint to chip, so no touch-up cycle.
Grain stays consistent from door to door, which matters across a long wall. A flat door suits edge pulls, slim bar pulls or push-latch hardware. Keep hardware minimal so the grain stays the focus.
Lead time is 10–14 weeks. Pricing starts at $1200/LF, cabinetry only. To talk through a layout, contact us.
