Arch Four in every finish
The door itself
Arch Four is a framed mullion door with a glass center panel, built inset so it sits flush within the cabinet frame. It belongs to the TKG Inset collection: framed, furniture-grade, and exacting about its reveals.
In a room, it reads as a display cabinet rather than a wall of storage. The glass breaks up the mass of the uppers, catches light, and gives a run of cabinetry a more architectural presence.
Where it works in New York
Pre-war apartments and brownstones are the natural home. Plaster moldings, tall windows, and deep window casings already speak this language, and an inset glazed door looks as though it belongs to the building.
Long Island colonials and Tudor-style houses take it just as well, particularly in butler's pantries and breakfast rooms. In a new build, it adds the detail that drywall and recessed lighting tend to leave out. In a loft, a single run of glazed uppers against brick softens a hard-edged space.
Choosing a finish
Arch Four comes in Hard Maple, with 16 finishes. Every finish shown here is a stain, so the grain stays visible.
Icicle, Wheat, and Natural keep a kitchen bright and suit smaller city rooms. Chestnut is the traditional middle ground. Mocha, Black Coffee, Charcoal, and Navy give glazed doors real depth, especially with the lights on inside. Browse the full range on the finishes page.
Practical notes
Maple has a tight, even grain, so stained doors look consistent from one cabinet to the next. Expect natural variation in tone, which is part of the character of real wood.
Clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. Spray glass cleaner onto the cloth, not the door, so it stays off the wood.
Choose hardware with some restraint. Slim knobs or bar pulls in aged brass, bronze, or nickel suit the frame without competing with the glass.
Lead time is 10–14 weeks. Pricing starts at $1200/LF, cabinetry only. Compare other profiles in door styles, or contact us to plan your kitchen.
