Wooster Shaker in every finish
The door
Wooster Shaker is a true shaker profile: a square frame around a flat recessed center panel. There is no bead and no raised field, only clean right angles. In a room it reads as calm and structured, and it lets proportion and material carry the design.
It belongs to TKG Inset, so it is built inset and framed to furniture-grade standards, with doors sitting flush inside the frame. Full overlay is also available if you want the frame to recede.
Where it works in New York and Long Island
This door suits transitional and traditional rooms. In a pre-war apartment, it sits comfortably beside plaster walls and original casings. In a brownstone, it follows the logic of the existing millwork, whether the kitchen is on the parlor floor or the garden level. On Long Island, it fits colonials and Tudor-style houses. In a new build, it gives the room a traditional anchor without period pastiche.
Choosing a finish
All 13 finishes are laminate wood tones. Frosted Path and Grey Timber are the light options, and they keep narrow or north-facing kitchens open. Forest Path, Range, Weathered Timber and Ridge sit in the medium range, where the grain adds warmth without weight. Shadow and Elk are the dark pair, best in rooms with generous light. Practical notes
The flat panel has no raised edges to collect dust. A soft damp cloth and mild soap are enough, followed by a dry wipe. Grain is consistent across a run, so adjoining doors read as one piece.
Square frames pair well with slim bar pulls, cup pulls or plain knobs. Unlacquered brass and blackened iron both suit the profile.
Lead time is 10–14 weeks. Pricing starts at $1200/LF, cabinetry only. To compare profiles, visit door styles, or contact us to see a sample.
