Riverside in every finish
The door
Riverside is a raised-panel door with a classic profile: a framed perimeter around a center panel that rises toward the middle. In TKG Inset construction it sits flush within a furniture-grade face frame, so a run of cabinets reads as joinery rather than boxes. Full overlay is available when you want a more continuous face.
Where it works
The door suits traditional and transitional rooms. In a pre-war apartment or a brownstone, it matches the paneled doors and deep casings already there. In a Long Island colonial or Tudor, it keeps a kitchen consistent with the rest of the house. In a new build, painted, it gives a plain box some architecture. In a loft, one run in wood softens the industrial shell.
Choosing a finish
The door comes in Cherry, Quarter Sawn White Oak, Hard Maple, Rift Cut White Oak, Paint Grade Maple, Walnut and Red Oak. Cherry Honey keeps the grain natural and warm. Cherry Bourbon and Walnut Bourbon sit in the medium range, while Hard Maple Driftwood is the lightest of these. Rift Cut White Oak Umber goes dark and quiet. For paint, Linen is a soft off-white and Atlantic is a confident blue. Browse all 82 on the finishes page, or see the full door range.
Practical notes
Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry right away. A soft brush clears dust from the panel recess. Stained wood shows its grain, and oak's is the most pronounced. Paint Grade Maple takes paint evenly and suits Linen or Atlantic.
Bin pulls and cup pulls suit the inset look, as do small knobs in brass or nickel. Lead time is 10–14 weeks, and pricing starts from $1200/LF, cabinetry only. To discuss a layout, contact the studio.
