Gramercy Bevel in every finish
The door
Applied molding frames a flat recessed center panel. The molding catches light along its edge and throws a soft shadow line, while the panel stays calm. The result reads as furniture rather than cabinetry.
Gramercy Bevel belongs to TKG Inset: inset, framed, furniture-grade. Full overlay is also available if you prefer a different reveal. Compare it with other profiles in door styles.
Where it works
It suits traditional and transitional rooms, and it knows its context.
In a pre-war apartment, it sits comfortably beside plaster walls, picture rail and herringbone floors. In a brownstone, it fits a parlor-floor or garden-level kitchen without competing with the millwork upstairs. On Long Island, it belongs in colonials and center-hall houses. In a new build or loft, it adds a framed layer of detail against brick, steel or glass.
Choosing a finish
Six species are offered: Cherry, Hard Maple, Rift Cut White Oak, Paint Grade Maple, Walnut and Red Oak. Across the collection there are 81 finishes. A few that suit this profile:
- Stained: Rift Cut White Oak Storm, Cherry Cognac, Walnut Natural, Cherry Bourbon, Red Oak Auburn
- Painted: Sand, Cream
- Textured: Gallery White Distressed

Practical notes
Paint settles into the molding and emphasizes the shadow line. Wipe the joints with a soft, damp cloth and dry them. Stain shows grain: rift cut oak runs straight and quiet, red oak is more open, and walnut varies board to board. Cherry deepens with light over time.
For hardware, keep scale modest. Slim bar pulls or small knobs in aged brass or bronze suit the profile.
Lead time is 10–14 weeks. Pricing starts at $1200/LF, cabinetry only. Contact us to talk through your kitchen.
