Mott in every finish
The door
Mott is a slab door with a slab center panel. There is no bead, no raised field, no applied detail. What remains is a flat plane of paint grade maple and the way it catches light along a run of cabinets.
It is built to TKG Inset standards: framed, furniture-grade construction, with full overlay available when you want a continuous face instead of an inset reveal. It reads as modern without being severe, and it sits easily in transitional rooms where other details carry the warmth.
Where it works
Pre-war apartments often have small, tall kitchens, and a slab door adds no visual noise to them. In a brownstone, a painted slab keeps the cabinetry quiet beside original moldings and mantels.
Lofts and new-build condos in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Miami suit its long, uninterrupted lines. On Long Island, it gives renovated ranches and colonials a cleaner face.
Choosing a finish
There are 31 finishes. Pebble, Dusk, and Silver are three grays. Dune and Linen are off-whites, and Chalk Crackle is a white with a textured surface for rooms that want something handmade. Onyx and Ink are deep blacks, well suited to an island or a full wall.

Practical notes
Wipe with a soft damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Avoid abrasive pads. Paint grade maple has a fine, even grain that takes paint smoothly, so flat colors look consistent from door to door. Dark finishes show dust and fingerprints sooner than light ones.
Slab doors pair well with slim bar pulls, edge pulls, or finger-pull details.
Lead time is 10–14 weeks. Pricing starts at $1200/LF, cabinetry only. Compare other door styles, explore the TKG Inset collection, or contact us to talk through your kitchen.
