A single flat plane

Ludlow 3 is a slab door with a slab center panel: one flat plane, no rails, no bead, no routed profile. In TKG Inset it sits flush in a furniture-grade face frame, and the reveal around each door becomes the room's only line. Full overlay is also available.

In a room, it reads as quiet and architectural. Cabinets look like built furniture, and the finish carries the personality.

Where it works in NYC and Long Island

In a pre-war apartment, a slab door steadies rooms already busy with plaster moldings, radiators, and old windows. In a brownstone, it gives a garden-level kitchen a clean counterpoint to cornices and mantels.

Lofts suit it for long runs and tall walls. In new builds on Long Island or in Miami, it fits modern and transitional plans, especially beside stone slabs and large glazing.

Choosing a finish

Thirty-one finishes are offered. Ink and Onyx are deep blacks; Lace is a clean white. Sage and Verdant are greens, Marine is a clear blue, and Flint is a greige. Atlantic Crackle adds a textured blue with surface movement. See all in finishes.

Practical notes

MDF takes paint evenly and has no grain to telegraph through the color. Wipe with a damp microfiber cloth and mild soap, then dry; use a soft brush on Atlantic Crackle. Dark paints show dust and fingerprints more readily, so check a sample in your own light.
