Perry Wide in every finish
The door itself
Perry Wide is a slab door with a frame. The center panel is flat, with no bead, no raised field and no routed detail. The only line is the joint where panel meets frame.
You can order it flush inset, where the door sits level with the cabinet face, or full overlay, where it covers the box. Flush inset is tighter and more architectural. Full overlay is quieter and more continuous. It belongs to TKG Inset, our furniture-grade framed line.
Where it works in NYC and Long Island
In a pre-war apartment, it gives a modern kitchen some restraint without fighting the moldings in the next room. In a brownstone, a painted or walnut version sits comfortably beside plaster and parlor-floor proportions.
Lofts suit it well. Long runs of flat doors hold up against brick, steel windows and tall ceilings. In a new build on Long Island or a Miami condo, it adds the precision of real joinery to a plan that can otherwise feel generic.
Choosing a finish
The slab shows off the finish, so choose with care. Walnut Chestnut, Cherry Honey, Hard Maple Bourbon and Alder Bourbon let the grain lead. For paint, Verdant and Marine are saturated and calm, while Dusk and Fog are softer grays that stay out of the way.

Practical notes
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry it right away. Skip abrasive cleaners.
Paint Grade Maple gives the smoothest painted surface. Oak and other open-grain woods keep their texture under stain. Cherry deepens gradually with light, so expect some change over the years.
Flat doors call for simple hardware: slim bar pulls, edge pulls or small knobs. Lead time is 10–14 weeks, and pricing starts at $1200/LF for cabinetry only. Contact us for a sample door.
