The door
A flat center panel, set flush inside a frame. Perry Metal is part of the TKG Inset collection: inset, framed and built to furniture standards.
With no raised profile to catch light, the door reads as calm and architectural. Grain or color carries the room. It suits modern and transitional kitchens.
Where it works
In a pre-war co-op, the flat face sits quietly beside original plaster and tall ceilings. In a brownstone, a wood slab settles a room already full of period detail.
Lofts suit long, uninterrupted runs. In new builds on Long Island and in Miami, a painted version keeps the lines clean and the palette controlled.
Choosing a finish
The door comes in Cherry, Hard Maple, Rift Cut White Oak, Paint Grade Maple, Walnut and Red Oak, with 81 finishes across them.
For straight, restrained grain, look at Rift Cut White Oak Smoke, Chestnut or Storm. Hard Maple Saddle and Driftwood are warmer and softer, and Hard Maple Navy is a dark stain that still shows wood. For paint, Dusk is a gray and Marine a blue. Browse them all in finishes.
Practical notes
Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry it. Stained wood shows its grain, and that variation is part of the material. Painted doors give a smooth, even surface.
Flat inset faces pair well with slim bar pulls, finger pulls or small knobs. Keep the hardware simple and let the door lead.
